Dr. Christopher Ellenor is a physicist and generalist with experience in the design and construction of complex systems at a range of stages – from proof of concept devices to realized products. Chris has particular expertise in the development of both hardware and software components for medical imaging systems (CT, MRI, Ultrasound), and also makes contributions to different projects in software and algorithm development, as well as experiment design and analysis. Chris is an author on 3 patents and 7 scientific publications.
Chris has a BScE in Engineering Physics (Electrical Option) from Queen’s University Canada and an MSc and PhD in Physics (Experimental Quantum Optics) from the University of Toronto. After his PhD, Chris completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Electrical Engineering at Stanford’s MRSRL, working on hardware systems for MRI.
