Kevin Limtao has over a decade of experience developing medical devices and in vitro diagnostic systems. As a Lead Systems Engineer at Triple Ring Technologies, he leverages his expertise in requirements management, architecture development, risk management, and systems integration/test for a variety of complex systems throughout the development lifecycle. Kevin started his career designing microfluidic platforms—creating devices for the capture of circulating tumor cells, small sample Western Blotting, and automated immunoassays for point-of-care diagnostics. He has since transitioned to the design and development of complex systems for medical imaging, continuous health monitoring, drug delivery, and surgical applications. Prior to Triple Ring, Kevin worked at Ascensia Diabetes Care (formerly Bayer) where he led systems engineering efforts for blood glucose monitoring products undergoing global regulatory submissions.
Kevin holds a BS. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, Irvine, and an MS in Systems Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. He is an inventor on seven granted patents and his contributions have been presented at conferences such as Pittcon, µTAS, ECTC, and BMES.
